Russ Davis spent nearly 25 years in the environmental field, watching the market change drastically. After experiencing firsthand the challenge of getting a larger slice of a smaller pie, Russ started looking for a business development process that enables professionals to become trusted advisors for their clients. "My objective is to use my experience to help companies and individuals achieve their goals." Russ graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Finance. Early in his career, he was a product specialist for Sharon Steel Corporation. He was recruited to rebuild secondary sales channels and grow sales in a declining market. From there, he joined Mill Service, Inc., and became an executive vice president. During his 14-year tenure, he directed transportation, treatment and disposal operations, functioning at margins approaching 50 percent of sales. He helped to establish Mill Service as the premiere East Coast hazardous waste treatment facility, with sales increasing from $1 million in 1977 to $20 million in 1991. It was also during this time that Russ earned his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1991, he partnered with The Arnoni Landfill Group, Inc., to form Cochran Mill Associates, Inc., leveraging his expertise and contacts. Over the next seven years, Russ positioned Cochran Mill as the dominant industrial waste management firm in the region, increasing revenues by over $5 million, employing innovative marketing efforts. By 1996, Cochran Mill accounts comprised 50 percent of Arnoni's business, and the firm was sold to Waste Management, Inc. "I hope to meet our clients' needs by giving people involved in the selling process tools to increase income to the company and themselves." Today, Russ is a principal at Peak Performance Management and is helping organizations and individuals change the marketplace, rather than watching it change around them.
